Wags Petcare is a community-focused dog walking and pet care business based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Started in 2022 by Nicole, a local dog lover with a background in social work and a passion for creating a safe, fun, and flexible service for busy pet owners. What began as a one-woman operation walking dogs around Cromer and Dee Why has grown into a trusted name with a loyal client base and a small team of walkers who care as much as she does.
We're not trying to be the biggest – just the most trusted and loved.

Director & Head Dog walker
Nic
Nic is the founder and director of Wags Petcare as well as our head dog walker. "Loving dogs is the understatement of the century." Nic handles all things business, basic training and is always first in line for an adventure with the dogs.
"I have tried everything under the sun, and I am so happy to have finally found my calling. Running Wags and spending every day with all these gorgeous, happy dogs is truly the highlight of my life." I am a big believer in positive reinforcement and run every day with this attitude. Helping the dogs build confidence and learn to have fun is just the best thing ever!"

Alex
Alex is the ultimate cat whisperer but couldn't stay away from stealing the dog's hearts. He has become a well known and loved pet carer by all our dogs and cats we care for. Alex has a background with reptiles, breeding snakes in particular, he is our go to for those reptile check ins and care needs. "I love cats because they have so much love to give once you have earned it and I think that is a really special thing. Dogs are amazing in how intelligent they are and seeing how excited they get to spend time with you and go on adventures is just priceless. Snakes take me back to my childhood where my brother and I bred them and learnt a ton about how cool they are and how much they have to offer in their own unique way."

I've had heaps of different jobs over the years, but the one thing I always looked forward to was getting home to my dog. No matter how stressful or long the day was, being with him just made everything better. After a while I realised that was probably saying something!
So I decided to spend my days doing something that genuinely makes me happy...
being around dogs.

I’ve always loved dogs and grown up around them, so dog walking just felt like the perfect fit for me. I have 5 dogs of my own back home in England. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I love being active and spending time outdoors so getting to do that surrounded by wagging tails makes it even better. My favorite part is getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they always have a fun, happy walk or pack play!
Our original story
Wags Petcare was started with just three gorgeous doggies, starting with Baxter and Ruby our lab and groodle. These two are brother and sister and were our very first two dogs in our pack. Then came along Dallas our Swiss Shepard who is just full of personality and joined our pack shortly after Bax and Rubes. These three made up our original logo and we would not be who we are today without these gorgeous cuties in our crew helping us start a lifetime journey of waggy tails and happy faces. We still walk all three till this day and they will always hold a special place in our hearts and our pack.
